a. When cells are treated with effector (E) and inhibitor of phosphatase, the transcription factor will be translocated into the nucleus, and there will be activation of genes regulated by the transcription factor.
b. When cells are treated with effector (E) and inhibitor of ubiquitinylation, the transcription factor will be translocated into the nucleus, but there will be no activation of genes regulated by the transcription factor.
c. When cells are treated with effector (E) and inhibitor of deacetylase, the transcription factor will be translocated into the nucleus and there will be enhanced activation of genes regulated by the transcription factor.
d. When cells are treated with effector (E) only, the transcription factor will not be translocated into the nucleus and there will be no activation of genes.
