Q13 — Nitrogen Limitation of Legumes in Steppes

Legumes can fix nitrogen from the air. Anecdotal evidence showed industrial pollution with nitrogen and other macronutrients making legumes less fit for nitrogen-poor steppes and other grasslands, which make up half of Kazakhstan.
